Abstract
An efficient immobilized glucose isomerase composite can be prepared by adsorbing the enzyme within the pores of a porous inorganic support having an average pore size between about 100 A and 1000 A and consisting of about 0.84% to 12.0% MgO and 99.16% to 88.0% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, by weight.
