Abstract
An electric furnace wall construction is provided and comprises a plurality of layers of heat insulating fiberboard overlying each other. Certain of the layers of fiberboard are apertured to receive ceramic hangers which support a serpentine arrangement of electric strip resistance heaters. The construction is held together by a plurality of studs and mating locking washers.
