Abstract

Novel compounds of the formula ##SPC1## Wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or methyl, R.sub. 2 is hydrogen or acetyl and the diester thereof. The compounds are useful as intermediates for preparing biologically active prostaglandins and they are useful singly as antibacterial agents.
