Abstract
In a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, the temperature of a travelling steel strip just before said strip is introduced into a molten Zn bath is controlled below the bath temperature, preferably at 380.degree.C. to 420.degree.C., to avoid generation of dross in said bath and impairment of said galvanized film.
