Abstract

A polymer composition, which comprises a polymer containing a quinophthalone pigment having the formula ##SPC1## Wherein the quinoline ring can have a substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, and carboxyl, and the ring A is a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring which can have a substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen, and --COW wherein W represents hydroxyl, lower alkoxyl or amino; and 0.005-5% by weight of a piperidine type or imidazolidine type ultraviolet absorbing agent.
