Abstract
Composition in unit dosage form comprising mono-, di- and polyphosphonate compounds having therapeutic levels of radioactive phosphorus (as .sup.32 P and .sup.33 P) incorporated therein are disclosed. Due to the extremely high affinity of the polyphosphonate compounds for active bone tumors and their exceptionally low retention in soft tissue they are ideal for therapy of both primary and metastatic bone tumors and soft tissue tumors which calcify.
