Anthraquinone dyestuffs of the formula ##SPC1## In which X.sub.1 denotes hydroxyl or amino, X.sub.2 denotes hydroxyl, amino, alkylamino, cycloalkylamino, arylamino, acylamino, alkylmercapto or arylmercapto, R denotes hydrogen, alkyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl, Z denotes alkylene, Ac denotes acyl and Y denotes hydrogen or halogen, and in which the ring A can optionally by substituted by halogen, as well as their preparation and use for the dyeing of synthetic fibre materials.
