Abstract

An improved process for electroplating polyoxymethylene is provided wherein a shaped article of polyoxymethylene is treated with quinoline or .gamma.-butyrolactone preferably by immersion techniques prior to subjecting the shaped article to surface treatment with an acid etching agent.
