Abstract

Method and composition for improving lubricity, abrasion resistance, and lowering the coefficient friction of subtrates such as photographic film, magnetic surfaces and other recording elements by applying to such substrates a solution comprising tetrafluoroethylene telomer and a copolymer of vinyl chloride and trifluorochloroethylene in a volatile solvent, drying and removing the excess, and substrates so lubricated.
