Abstract
A projectile having a first plurality of flechettes arranged to be disper during the flight of the projectile by an explosive removal of a surrounding portion of the projectile casing and a second plurality of flechettes adapted to be subsequently dispersed by a movement thereof forwardly through a rear portion of the casing of the projectile and subsequent lateral displacement therefrom.
