Abstract
Stable H.sub.3 N.sub.2 influenza virus strains completely resistant to serum inhibitors are obtained by passaging at least one time in the allantoic cavity of embryonated eggs in the presence of serum a recombinant strain previously obtained from an H.sub.3 N.sub.2 influenza strain and the A/PR.sub.8 influenza virus strain and isolating the so-obtained serum inhibitors resistant strains. The obtained strains are useful for vaccine production.
