Abstract
An automatic sprinkler having apparatus by which it can be programmed to uniformly distribute water over a number of different irregular patterns. A programmer has a sensor device connected thereto for manipulating both a speed control means and a nozzle in a manner whereby the speed of rotation of the nozzle means about a support base, as well as the angle of elevation of the water leaving the nozzle, is controlled in a manner to uniformly distribute water over an irregular pattern.
