Abstract
Cleaning compositions exhibiting effervescence comprise a cleaning agent and a liquefied gas distributed therethrough. The liquefied gas is present in the compositions at pressure and temperature conditions at which it would normally exist only in the gaseous state. As vapors of the liquefied gas separate from the compositions, effervescence occurs.
