Abstract

Cutter dies for cross rolling machines, each of which dies consisting of a shaping surface and a finishing surface, the width of the shaping surface being increasingly smaller and its height larger towards the end portions of the shaping surface, characterized in that the width of the shaping surface is further increased in the end portions of the cutter dies from a preferred position in an angle substantially less than 15.degree. from the end portions of the cutter dies.
