Abstract
Heat-sensitive recording sheets having an improved stability comprising a colorless or pale-colored chromogenic compound and an organic acid for coloring the chromogenic compound by heating, which are characterized by containing phenol derivatives represented by the formula ##SPC1## Wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are hereinafter defined, is disclosed.
