Abstract

Compounds represented by the following general formula are extremely effective as ultraviolet ray-absorbing agent, especially, for color photographic photosensitive materials. ##SPC1## (wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 13, preferably 5 to 13 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms and X is hydrogen, a halogen, an alkyl, an alkoxy, an aryloxy, an aralkyloxy or an aryl group).
