Abstract

There is disclosed a toothpaste containing dispersed particles of sodium bicarbonate and a polishing agent composition comprising titanium dioxide powder having a particle size less than about 2 microns, the amount of titanium dioxide powder being about 0.1 by weight on the weight of the toothpaste and a method of making same.
