Abstract
A communication method and an apparatus are provided. The communication method includes: an AI device determines an energy saving policy based on collected AI data. The AI device notifies a network device of the energy saving policy. The network device performs an energy saving operation according to the energy saving policy. Compared with a solution in which a network device or an OAM system determines and implements an energy saving policy by using human experience or a simple algorithm, the energy saving mechanisms disclosed herein are more intelligent, and can meet higher energy saving requirements of the network.
