Abstract
Methods and systems for detecting malicious inputs into artificial intelligence agents are disclosed herein. A communication session between an artificial intelligence agent and a client device may be monitored. The communication session may include multiple requests from the client device and multiple responses from the artificial intelligence agent. A topic detection machine learning model may be used to determine response metrics for each response. Each response metric may indicate proximity of a corresponding response to a prohibited topic. The system may determine whether response metrics meet or exceed a threshold proximity to a prohibited topic. Based on determining that response metrics meet the threshold proximity, a response indicating that the prohibited topic has been detected may be generated and transmitted to the client device.
