Abstract
A method including transmitting, by virtual private network (VPN) server to an infrastructure device while executing a primary VPN operating system, a request for a custom parameter file to enable the VPN server to provide VPN services; authenticating, by the infrastructure device, the VPN server as an authorized recipient of the custom parameter file; transmitting, by the infrastructure device to the VPN server, the custom parameter file based at least in part on authenticating the VPN server as the authorized recipient of the custom parameter file; and configuring, by the VPN server, the primary VPN operating system to utilize the custom parameter file to enable the VPN server to provide the VPN services is disclosed.
