Abstract
A secure medical imaging system includes a medical imaging device, an adjustable patient positioning fixture, a digital imaging encryption module, and a receiving device having a display. The system utilizes a digital imaging encryption module to transform a digital medical image into a latent image representation by partitioning the digital medical image into non-overlapping patches, encoding each of the non-overlapping patches using a quantum-assisted autoencoder, generating a chaotic control sequence from a cryptographic key using a nonlinear chaotic map and encrypting the latent image representation by applying a plurality of encryption operations controlled by the chaotic control sequence. The encryption operations include a permutation operation, a substitution operation, and a diffusion operation thereby producing an encrypted representation of the digital medical image.
