Abstract
A contact spring assembly for self-locking a wire of an electrical conductor; —a contact spring which has a base leg held stationary with respect to a support wall and has a clamping leg connected to the base leg by a curve portion and forms an insertion receptacle for the wire and the clamping leg having at its free end a gripping edge for the wire; and —a release element guided for translation and having an actuation arm, the free end of which, in a release position, acts on a stop and holds the clamping leg in a position where the clamping leg is bent back against the base leg; wherein the clamping leg has a bend point curved in the direction opposite the direction of curvature of the curve portion and is followed, toward the stop, by an additional bend point curved in the same direction.
