Abstract
A vehicle control device includes: a recognition unit; an acquisition unit; a processing unit; and a vehicle control unit as defined herein, the acquisition unit is configured to acquire the traffic light information at a predetermined cycle based on a recognition result by the recognition unit at each cycle and store the traffic light information in the storage unit, and in a case where plural pieces of the traffic light information are stored in the storage unit, the processing unit sets a traffic light present range serving as a condition for determining a traffic light corresponding to the travel path based on the plural pieces of the traffic light information, and determines whether the recognized traffic light is a traffic light corresponding to the travel path based on the traffic light information on the recognized traffic light and the set traffic light present range.
