Abstract
A control device can be used to remotely control a target device based on gestures made by a user of the control device. The control device (or a separate moderator device) may determine the location and orientation of the control device within an environment that includes one or more target devices. The control device may detect a first gesture and select a target device for control based on the location and orientation of the control device. The control device may detect a second gesture associated with an operation to be performed by the selected target device and transmit a signal indicating the operation. The signal may include an identifier of the selected target device.
