Abstract
A system on chip includes a core having a clock gating state in which supplying a clock signal is suspended; and a power manager generating a supply voltage based on an external supply voltage and providing the supply voltage to the core. the power manager increases the supply voltage every time the supply voltage is lower than a target voltage for maintaining the clock gating state. The target voltage is lower than the external supply voltage.
