Abstract
An optical switch includes a connector, a lens, and a reflective mirror array. The lens is arranged so that input lights from one or more multi-core fibers coupled to the connector pass through the lens. The reflective mirror array is configured to reflect each of the input lights that propagate through the lens toward an output destination. Each of the one or more multi-core fibers includes multiple cores arranged in a two-dimensional array at a specific pitch so as to form a specific geometric pattern. The reflective mirror array includes multiple reflective mirrors arranged in a two-dimensional array at a magnified geometric pattern and pitch. Each of the multiple reflective mirrors is configured to rotate a reflection surface around two rotation axes.
