Abstract
A washing machine includes: a water holding barrel, a circulation filtration pipeline connected with the water holding barrel, and a circulation pump arranged in the circulation filtration pipeline, and a filter device arranged between the circulation pump and a water outlet of the circulation filtration pipeline. A sewage pipeline is connected to the sewage outlet of the filter device. The washing machine alternately executes a circulation filtration operation and a sewage discharge operation, and the circulation pump provides power for the filter device to discharge sewage, so that the filtered impurities in the filter device can be timely and fully discharged.
