Abstract
An attractive magnetic movement system uses groups of laterally stationary under-floor magnets to create an attractive potential well which magnetically attracts and pulls a mover towards the well. The under-floor magnets adjust their strength through actuations or currents to move the attractive potential well and pull the mover. A potential attractive well can be created and moved using normally-attractive magnet orientations and alternatively with normally-repulsive magnet orientations.
