Abstract
The present invention relates to electronic device and method for wireless communication system, and storage medium. An electronic device of a terminal device side for a wireless communication system, comprising: a processing circuit configured to: receive, from a base station, configuration information indicating that one or more of a plurality of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) corresponding to the electronic device are measured when the electronic device is in an idle or inactive state, wherein the configuration information is sent on the basis that the electronic device is in a stationary state, and the configuration information comprises at least information indicating a first threshold; and in the period during which the electronic device is in the idle or inactive state, measure only the one or more of the plurality of SSBs having received signal strength higher than the first threshold when the electronic device is in a connected state.
