Abstract
Techniques for adjusting focus of a camera using machine vision are described herein. A set of red-blue-green (RGB) pixel arrays of a target image can be received via a camera. Each RGB pixel array of the set of RGB pixel arrays can correspond to a different focus value of the camera. A set of hue-saturation-value (HSV) pixel arrays of the target image can be generated based at least in part on the set of RGB pixel arrays. An average saturation value can be determined for each HSV pixel array of the set of HSV pixel arrays. A first HSV pixel array of the set of HSV pixel arrays can be determined to correspond to a target saturation value. The focus value of the camera can be adjusted based at least in part on a corresponding RGB pixel array that corresponds to the first HSV pixel array.
