Abstract

A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for operation in a 5G NR and beyond wireless network and to cause the UE to perform operations. The operations include encoding a data bitstream to generate a plurality of code blocks. Code block interleaving of a subset of code blocks of the plurality of code blocks is performed to generate an interleaved bitstream. The interleaved bitstream is modulated using a discrete Fourier transform-spread-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) to generate multiple sets of time-domain samples. The operations further include causing transmission of the multiple sets of time-domain samples.
