Abstract

Techniques for a high efficiency electrical motor are described herein. The electrical motor includes a stator disposed in a housing and having a length that is at least forty percent of a length of the housing. The stator includes a first number of slots. A slot of the stator includes first windings. The electrical motor includes a first set of winding pins attached to a first side of the stator. The first set includes a first winding pin electrically coupled with a first winding of the first windings. The electrical motor includes a second set of winding pins that are attached to a second side of the stator. The second set includes a second winding pin electrically coupled with the first winding. The electrical motor includes a rotor that includes a second number of slots that is smaller than the first number. A slot of the rotor includes second windings.
