Abstract

An estimation processing unitexecutes processing of estimating at least one of a position or a posture of a head-mounted display on the basis of an image obtained by capturing a vicinity of the head-mounted display. An image generation unitgenerates a display image to be displayed on a display device different from the head-mounted display. The image generation unitgenerates a display image at least partially including a picture pattern being a still image.
