Abstract
Systems and methods for providing a rolling code verification retrofit for existing payment systems are provided. A rolling code is generated for a verification data type captured by the payment system, while an actual value of the data type is retained. The rolling code is used for authentication of a transaction request, while the actual value continues to be used for other functions.
