Abstract
A trackable transport structure is disclosed that includes a pallet comprising a plurality of blocks, a first lower longitudinal beam, a second lower longitudinal beam, a first upper longitudinal beam, a second upper longitudinal beam, and a tracking device coupled to the pallet between the first and second lower longitudinal beams. The tracking device is substantially parallel to the first and second upper longitudinal beams. The tracking device is affixed to at least the first and second lower longitudinal beams. The tracking device is positioned such that a gap exists between the tracking device and an edge of the pallet. The tracking device comprises a rectangular-shaped packaging of one or more electronic components, a battery powering the one or more electronic components, and an antenna coupled to the one or more electronic components.
