Abstract
An indication of a graph data set is obtained at a machine learning service. At a server identified for training a model using the graph data set, a plurality of mini-batch training iterations is conducted. A given mini-batch iteration comprises execution of a group of asynchronous tasks including a graph sampling task run at a CPU, and a model parameter learning task run at least in part at a training accelerator. At least one task of a given iteration is run in parallel with a task of another iteration. A trained version of the model is stored.
