Abstract
A computer implemented method that enables data editing is described. The method includes determining cutoffs associated with a differential caliper log and cutoffs associated with a density correction log and applying the cutoffs to a cross-plot of a differential caliper log and a density correction log. The method includes categorizing a quality of respective datapoints in the cross-plot according to a confidence level and training a machine learning model using datapoints that satisfy a confidence threshold. The method also includes replacing low confidence datapoints in a well log with modeled datapoints by inputting a well log to the trained machine learning model to obtain a modeled well log.
