Abstract

A method includes determining whether an overheated composable resource, which has a corresponding temperature higher than or equal to a first threshold temperature, is in a container of a composable system, and in response to determining that the overheated composable resource is in the container of the composable system: identifying a composable resource having a corresponding temperature lower than or equal to a second threshold temperature as a target composable resource, and mapping the target composable resource to the container to transfer at least part of current workload of the overheated composable resource to the target composable resource. The second threshold temperature is lower than the first threshold temperature. A difference between the first threshold temperature and the second threshold temperature is one-fourth to three-fourth of a difference between the first threshold temperature and a room temperature.
