Abstract

A vehicle including a removable work surface and a processor is disclosed. The removable work surface may include a wireless tag that may emit signals at a predefined frequency. The processor may obtain a user request to activate a predefined vehicle mode. Responsive to obtaining the user request, the processor may determine that the removable work surface is within a predefined distance range of the vehicle based on the signals obtained from the wireless tag. The processor may activate the predefined vehicle mode responsive to determining that the removable work surface is within the predefined distance range. The processor may then obtain a user input to cause vehicle movement responsive to activating the predefined vehicle mode. The processor may further cause the vehicle movement based on the user input.
