Abstract
A method, system, and device assembly of inspecting structural conditions in hard-to-reach areas in a building are disclosed. The embodiments are configured to allow for the deployment of a device through an opening for a standard outlet in a wall, whereby the device will transmit data regarding its location and external conditions to a nearby monitoring (controller) device. Upon arriving at a section in which damage is observed, the device can automatically transmit a signal indicating its current location.
