Abstract
Described herein are systems and methods for a hydraulic clutch. The hydraulic clutch includes a piston, a drum, a washer, an actuation chamber defined between the piston and the drum, and a counter-pressure chamber defined between the piston and the washer. The piston comprises a first portion for positioning an outer seal and a second portion for positioning an inner seal, where the outer seal and the inner seal share a common diameter. The actuation chamber comprises the outer seal, and is fluidly coupled to a work fluid supply channel. The counter-pressure chamber comprises the inner seal and a spring, and is fluidly coupled to a work fluid overflow channel.
