Abstract
A system for maneuvering a marine vessel to a target position is provided, the system comprising: a sensor; a marine propulsion system; and one or more hardware processors configured to: determine that the marine vessel is being secured at a target position; receive, from the sensor, information indicative of an impact of one or more environmental influences on the marine vessel; estimate an environmental impact on a course of the marine vessel based on the information indicative of the impact of the one or more environmental influences on the marine vessel; determine a path to the target position based on the environmental impact; determine vessel movements to travel along the path based on the environmental impact; and output the vessel movements to the marine propulsion system, causing the vessel to be propelled to the target position without further intervention from an operator of the marine vessel.
