Abstract
A head-mounted augmented reality system includes a wearable frame, such as eyeglasses or a helmet, featuring integrated dry electrodes with protruding surface features configured to penetrate hair and establish electrical contact with the skin. The electrodes acquire electrophysiological signals, including EEG and EOG, which a processor analyzes to derive real-time metrics such as cognitive load, alertness, or physiological readiness. A heads-up display (HUD) coupled to the frame projects a graphical overlay onto the user's field of view. The system functions as a bio-adaptive interface by dynamically modifying the graphical overlay-such as by removing non-critical visual elements during periods of high cognitive load- or by translating ocular movements and brainwave patterns into hands-free control commands for digital interfaces or remote assets.
