Abstract
Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communications. A first UE can determine assistance information corresponding to one or more uplink (UL) transmissions of the first UE, the assistance information indicative of a periodicity of the one or more UL transmissions. The one or more UL transmissions can be vehicle-to-everything (V2X) UL transmissions of the first UE. The first UE can transmit the assistance information to a network entity. The network entity can determine a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration for a second UE based on the assistance information, the DRX configuration indicative of a DRX on-duration. The second UE can receive information indicative of the DRX configuration from the network entity. The second UE can receive, from the network entity and during the DRX on-duration, a downlink transmission associated with the first UE. The downlink transmission can be a V2X downlink transmission.
