A method for determining a paging monitoring parameter is performed by a user equipment (UE), and includes: determining a paging monitoring parameter of an inactive-state UE according to a configuration situation of an inactive-state extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX) parameter and an idle-state eDRX parameter.
