Abstract
In response to receiving a first signal indicating a request or indication of Secondary Cell Group (SCG) activation from a User Equipment (UE) () via a PSCell of the SCG, a secondary node (SN) () transmits a second signal indicating activation of the SCG to the UE via the PSCell. The second signal is transmitted to the UE () before the SN () sends an inter-node message indicating activation of the SCG to a master node (MN) () or before the SN () receives a response to the inter-node message from the MN (). This can, for example, help to reduce the delay in the activation of the SCG triggered by the UE.
