Abstract
Methods for processing a radio resource management (RRM) measurement and a network side device are provided. The method includes: acquiring a first RRM measurement criterion corresponding to a first relay sidelink terminal, the first relay sidelink terminal being a relay sidelink terminal serving the non-relay sidelink terminal; and in response to measuring that channel quality associated with the first relay sidelink terminal meets the first RRM measurement criterion, performing a first RRM measurement processing on a second relay sidelink terminal, other than the first relay sidelink terminal, in relay sidelink terminals, the second relay sidelink terminal having a serving range covering the non-relay sidelink terminal.
