Abstract

A signal transmission method and an apparatus are provided. In the method, a transmit end determines a plurality of reference signals based on a combined reference signal, a combination manner, and an interference coefficient between different reference signals. The combined reference signal is obtained by combining the plurality of reference signals. The combination manner includes at least one processing manner of performing summation or difference calculation on the plurality of reference signals. The transmit end sends the plurality of reference signals. The plurality of reference signals includes a reference signal at a real signal position and a reference signal at an imaginary signal position. It can be learned that, when determining the plurality of reference signals, the transmit end considers at least one processing process of performing summation or difference calculation on the plurality of reference signals.
