Abstract
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor a set of frequencies in a frequency band for a synchronization signal block (SSB) according to an initial channel raster. The initial channel raster may be associated with an initial cell or an initial base station. The UE may receive an indication of one or more frequencies for an updated channel raster associated with another cell or another base station. The initial channel raster and the updated channel raster may be different. The UE may monitor for another SSB according to the updated channel raster, which may include additional frequencies within a same frequency band or a different frequency band.
