Abstract
A station-side data acknowledgment apparatus includes a transmitter configured to send a data frame to access points (APs), and to send an acknowledgment request, a processor configured to control the transmitter to send the acknowledgment request after a duration from an end of sending the data frame to the APs, and a receiver configured to receive a beacon. The duration is greater than or equal to a transmission delay on a backhaul link between the APs. The acknowledgment request is for the data frame. The beacon includes a media access control (MAC) address of an AP or a virtual coordinated AP to which the AP belongs, and the transmission delay. The indication information includes a receiver address field whose value is a MAC address of a virtual coordinated AP and is in the data frame, or a 1-bit uplink joint reception indicator bit in the data frame.
